Piero Dorazio, an Italian painter who with his painting has
contributed to the affirmation of abstract art in Italy since the Second World War.
In 1947 he went to Paris for the first time where, thanks
to Gino Severini, he met the major international artists
including Georges Braque, Fernard Léger, Hans Arp, who
he was deeply influenced by.
In 1948 he exhibited at the Rome Quadriennale and at the “Salon des réalités nouvelles” in Paris.
