Biography: Italian painter who has with his painting
contributed, since 1945, to the affirmation of abstractionism in
Italy. In 1947 he went to Paris for the first time where, thanks
to Gino Saverini, knows the major international artists among
such as Georges Braque, Fernard Léger, Hans Arp, artists from whom
will be profoundly affected. In 1948 he exhibited at the
Rome Quadrennial and at the “Salon des réalités nouvelles” a
Paris; he often participates in the Venice Biennale.
