Biography:
Born in Como in 1956, he grew up in Meda and began working in the family business as a surveyor. Already as a boy he became passionate about photography by participating in photography competitions using classic black and white films. He made his debut using a Widelux camera for on-the-road research. Since 1983 he began using Polaroid snapshots, through which he expresses a personal technique which has as its final result a true photographic mosaic. The Polaroid is used to decompose and recompose the image into mosaics, recreating the photographed subject, reinterpreting it.
