Biography: Born in Como in 1956, he grew up in Meda starting to work in the family business as a surveyor. Already as a boy he became passionate about photography by participating in photographic competitions using the classic black and white films. He begins by using a Widelux camera for research on the road. Since 1983 he begins to use Polaroid snapshots, through which he expresses a personal technique that has as a final result a real photographic mosaic. The Polaroid is used to break down and recompose the image into mosaics by recreating the photographed subject, reinterpreting it.
