Biography: Born in Como in 1956, he grew up in Meda starting to work in the family business as a surveyor. Already as a boy he became passionate about photography by participating in photographic competitions using the classic black and white films. He begins by using a Widelux camera for research on the road. From 1983 he began to use Polaroid snapshots, through which he expresses a personal technique that has as a final result a real photographic mosaic. The Polaroid is used to decompose and recompose the image in mosaics recreating the photographed subject, reinterpreting it.
