Alfred Hendrickx Belgian designer was born in 1931. Although information about him is limited, it is certain that Hendrickx collaborated with Belgian furniture manufacturer Belform in the mid-20th century, designing elegant and sculptural pieces including tables, chairs, storage and sideboards. His 1950s and 1960s pieces have recently been rediscovered on the vintage market, being sought after for their “industrial style” typical of Mid-Century Scandinavia, characterized by high-quality woods such as rosewood and teak and less exclusive materials such as laminates and steel.
